Detox Day 1

I have recently decided to attempt a detox diet - mostly to see what kind of changes will happen to my body on a very healthy, limited diet (aka - eating like a grazing cow). Wow I would love to start this diet too but I don't know if I can give up milk and caffeine. You're probably going to lose tons of weight!

I'm a vegetarian too btw, I've been one for about 12 years now and I found you in vegrecipies I think.

Very cool - I don't drink milk, but now soy milk is off limits too. I swtiched to Rice milk, but it's a little weird.

You'll probably see me degrade into a bitter strung-out candy junkie before the week is over :)

I don't really know much about this, but why isn't soy or corn allowed?

Corn can be difficult for some people to digest and most corn products are highly processed. As for soy - you'd be surprised how many people have reactions to it and don't even realize until they go off it. My sister-in-law's son used to get horrible rashes and it took them forever to realize that it was soy.

As for me, I think it may make my skin a bit temperamental, so I'm interested to see if my complexion gets nicer without soy.
