Detox Day 4

I'm not even going to list the foods that I ate yesterday because they are exactly the same as the foods I have been eating for the last 3 days. I have lost all interest in food. I no longer have cravings for anything, and most of the time I just won't eat until I'm very hungry. I'd imagine that this is kind of how the body is supposed to react ( Read more... )

You might have stated this in an earlier entry, but what are you going to do at the end of the week? Will your diet return mostly to normal, with a few changes, or will you drastically change it to be more like the diet you're undertaking now?

Incase you're wondering why I'm so curious, I would love to have some of the health effects that you're experiencing with the detox, but I lack the determination to eliminate everything from my diet that you have. I'm just curious as to which foods made the biggest difference when taken out of your diet, but I'm not sure how you'd judge that unless you added one thing back into your diet at a time and judged the difference in how you felt.

Anyway, I'm done rambling. It's very interesting to read your journal and see the different health bonuses you're getting from cutting these things out your diet. It makes me want to stop eating some of this stuff too, just so I can see the difference. :)

No worries! I'm happy to answer questions, that's why I'm posting this on my public journal - I hoped some people would find it interesting.

After the week ends, I think I am going to make some changes to my regular diet. Mainly, switching from soy milk to rice milk, consuming MUCH less sugar, and when I cook, to try and use the kind of ingredients that I've been eating on the diet. Less baking, more cooking, you know? Butter, flour and sugar have been too important in my diet, and facilitate the kind of cravings that make one overeat and feel tired.
