Tonight I decided to make popcorn despite the fact that I don't have a popcorn popper, or a microwave. (So why do I have popcorn? Because it was only a dollar!) Long story short, it worked, but it was a pit stop along the highway to the dangerzone, and I don't recommend it.

In a saucepan? I never found that so dangerous.

No, it wasn't really that bad, but how do you know how much popcorn is going to fit in your pan once it's popped? And you know, once it's going, there's no turning back....

This is true. I've had some overflow problems in the past... the lid comes right at me.

Ha! Thanks! But I hate fake butter. That's why I wouldn't make microwave popcorn even if I had a microwave. Besides, it was fun for someone, Caddy had lots of little popcorn friends to hide around the apartment for me to step on later.
