Went to see SteamBoy, Robots, and rented The Incredibles this weekend.

SteamBoy has nice artistic merits, though it bats you on the head while trying to present some characters' motives. Robots was amusing, but The Incredibles had more in-jokes a la The Muppet Show.

I'm tired of pretty movies...saw 'blue sky' and almost walked out....'house of flying daggers' was promising until the east tried to be the west and then it became laughable......why is it that some film are better off with ear-plugs?.........a little more funding in the general direction of plot development can go a long way....
