Yes, 4 weeks IS too long between posts. Didn't you read the rules? You should be banned. I missed ya and looked (almost) daily for an entry, some inspiration, a word, anything! Been thinking of you. Thinking, "I struggle to return to work after 4 days off... how does brodar do it?" Steak next Friday? I got 3 calls from your mom yesterday (bless her soul). (Do you think she can read this? I'll try to be gentle.) I did call your sister who had a hilarious story of her own to tell... because I was a bit concerned... Your mom's first call was just fine, updating me on your dad, etc. It's that last 2 calls that disturbed me... actually, it was the very last call that made me stop and go, "Hmmmmmm?" The 2nd call was to let me know how the day went. She was home by then... and then that 3rd call, well, that was a voicemail left for, well, it must a been left for her 3rd daughter (yeah, that's it!) because it relayed (again) everything she had told me an hour earlier during the 2nd call

It was a nice ride. I stopped and saw Jeff H. (old work buddy from the 80's) and surprised him. Managed to leave Flint before dark (another good idea). Mama is Mama. Dad is Dad, Doctors must have heard a few stories, all acted like his buddies. Aspirin for the old fart to thin his blood to get through the blockage of his heart (mild heart attack). I just hope that he doesn't start bleeding again.
