So far in C&D we've been talking about different primary, secondary, & tertiary colors in both light and paint. We're also supposed to learn how different colors affect you and how to use that when designing something, how to draw floorplans & elevations, designing a box housing a raw egg that will survive a two-story drop (and we'll test that!), designing a show and a paper garment. I'm enjoying it so far.
Biometry is much less fun. It's statistics for Biology people so it's all about such exciting topics as Variance! Anova! T-tests! (I don't yet know what those are.) Instead of processing the stats using a commercial statistics program we will instead be learning how to program in a language called R to do so. I've never programmed anything before, but neither has most of the class. I hope it goes well.
