Cats will run when they see someone with a hose, especially the ones outside, because many people spray the strays to get them out of their yards. I don't like strays around because of Feline AIDs. No cure, no shot can stop a house cat from getting it. It's referred to sometimes as FIV. There is a vaccine to try to help stop the FIV, but it's not 100% effective.
First off, Jerome you are hilarious and I freaking love you. Secondly, since we've let our cats out (which has really only been something like three times, I think?), I haven't really seen the other strays in our yard! Fluffy stares 'em down. haha.
