Good for you! Yes, the humble VW is a much cooler ride than the Scion. If I didn't need a pickup, I'd probably be driving a GTI.

Wow, congrats on all fronts. I've driven a Mercedes and a VW Golf, and both had nice tight steering. The Gold was a stick, and I loved the way it slipped into the gears.
