To day Carl and I went to Arlington, MA to Penzey's where we picked up some things we were out of and I got my friend, Christine, some spices for Chistmas and I got my Dad and Donna a gift set that I think Dad will like (Donna really doesn't cook).

I found out that Google's directions there were needlessly convoluted. We got home a completely

Don't feel that that one random fact about you is the only confirmation of you being nuts. You also live with Carl and have Cthulu wearing a Santa Claus hats. That's two more strikes in one LJ post. ;-)

Well, our problem was that it's more direct for us to come from 93. So, we went 93 to what ever number the route 60 exit is. Then it had us go all over creation and back to route 60, but that's not what the directions said. We took route 60 back to the highway. SOOOOOOO much easier. We skipped the Mystic Brook Parkway, or whatever it was, altogether (which was in the original set of directions).

We could have come from route 2, but it would have meant going 93 to 128 to 2 to 60 instead of 93 to 60. This was just more direct.

That is true. The google map directions just took us on this needlessly convoluted trip through Arlington and the surrounding area.
