seeing Jesus in things

Yet another story about someone thinking they saw the face of Jesus... this time on a pizza.

Folks, why do you assume you know what Jesus (or the Virgin Mary) looked like?

Because we've seen their pictures in all those stained glass windows. Duh.

Well, seriously, an image could be the Face of Jesus without looking as Jesus would have presented himself 2,000 years ago, and likewise for the Virgin Mary.

The Face of Jesus would be a face most likely to bring to mind Jesus. The historical Jesus, if he existed at all, may well have looked like Jamie Farr, but Jamie Farr does not have the Face of Jesus because no one but a particular atheist looks at Jamie Farr and thinks He looks like Jesus. If Jesus came back with the Face of Jamie Farr, it would be an act of petulance. Instead, Jesus should come back with the Face of Jesus.

Kind of like on that pizza.

Hey, look! http://www.kdvr.com/news/kdvr-jesus-walmart-receipt,0,3388483.story
It's Judd Hirsch or Ron Silver or maybe … maybe it's Jesus!

(It sure ain't Jamie Farr, though.)
