"Don't blink. Just like that you're 6 years old and you take a nap, and you wake up and you're 25 and your high school sweetheart becomes your wife. Don't blink." -Don't Blink by Kenny Chesney.

"Time for a nap Quinnie." Judy Fabray smiled down at her 6 year old. With her blonde curls, beautiful hazel eyes, and thin frame dressed in a baby blue dress, her daughter couldn't have been cuter.

"No nap today!" Quinn protested around a yawn. Secretly, she loved naps.

Laughing, Judy led her daughter over to the new 'big girl' bed. Her mother sang her to sleep, Quinn falling asleep far more willing then she would ever admit. Even at such a tender age she was stubborn.

That was the last clear thing Quinn remembered. Her life was all a blank after that single memory. Now here she was, waking up from a nap, only she was older, and in a strange room. With... a girl next to her? The girl -still asleep- had long dark hair, tan skin, and a great figure. Quinn blushed when she saw the girl was only in her bra and panties, blushing even more when Quinn saw she too was in her bra and panties.

Who was this girl? Quinn slid out of the bed, automatically grabbing a green silky robe she didn't know how she knew was there. Padding around the room, she discovered many pictures of her and a dark haired beauty. Both were smiling. One picture had both girls in white wedding dresses. Quinn was horrified. Had she gotten married?! To a girl?! Yet... after the initial shock, it felt right. Next to the wedding picture was a bookcase. Only instead of books, the shelves were lined with many different awards. From the looks of it, there were 7 Tony Awards, 2 Golden Globes, 4 KCA's, 3 plaques from the mayor of New York, and 8 Grammy Awards. All had the name Rachel Berry on them.

Rachel Berry. Glancing back at the sleeping beauty, Quinn guessed that's what her name was. A quick glance at her left hand, and she guessed that's who she was married to as well.

Walking down the hall, she saw other pictures on the wall as well. Four girls were sticking their tongues out at the camera. Quinn recognized herself, Rachel, but didn't recognize the other blonde, or the mexican girl. But, something in her mind told her these were old friends. Not the way they looked so comfortable together, it was just a feeling. More pictures of her and the Rachel girl in wedding dresses. Shoving cake in each other's faces, kissing, and cutting the cake. It all felt so right, that Quinn didn't care if she could remember anything else. Or that some part of her was repulsed by the thought of marrying a girl. It felt too right to care.

"I don't know how long I can hold you so strong. I don't know long. Just take my hand and give it a chance. Don't jump. I'll scream into the night for you don't make it true. Don't jump. The lights will not guide you through they're decieving you. Don't jump. Don't let memories go, of me and you. The world is down there, out of view. Please don't jump. Don't jump. And if all that can't hold you back, then I'll jump for you." -Don't Jump by Tokio Hotel

Tears blurred her vision, panic set in as she realized what she was about to do. But then it was washed away with a sense of calm. She was finally about to be free from it all. Free from ridicule, responsibility, loneliness, and free from the hell she called life. Far below she could see the bright lights of passing cars shining on the wet pavement, merrily going on their way, never knowing -never suspecting that a girl was on top of the tall building, preparing to jump into death's open arms.

She had tried, she really had. There are just some time's when you have to say, enough is enough. She was sick of people looking down on her, making fun of her, flushing her lipstick down the toilets, and just plain sick of life. Not even Finn cared about her anymore. Ever since he had started going out with some girl, he had forgotten all about her. So, for the millionth time, Rachel asked herself: What was the point of living? Sure, she could go on and have the succesful career she knew she would have, but what was it worth if she had no one to share it with?

No. Enough was enough. She would do whatver it took to get out of here. Even if that meant leaving in a bodybag. Maybe that would teach everyone to try and use her for her impressive talent. Teach them to apprecitae what they had.

The rain had plastered her hair to her scalp, no doubt giving her a wet rat look. A step took her to the very edge, her toes sticking out over the building.

"Please." The whispered word made her turn around curiously.

"What are you doing here?" she asked flatly.

"Please don't jump." Was all that was said.

Ignoring the other, shel turned back to the task at hand. No matter how much she wanted to be out of this world, it was still a little daunting to get herself to jump. Heights and her had never gotten along, so why should they now? Maybe she should just take a bottle of Xanax... no. They could pump that out of her, bringing her back to life. slash her wrists? Nah, that wasn't a sure way to go. This was the only sure way. Damn it.

"Please." the voice sounded broken. "Don't do this."

"Go home." she kept her back to the other. A tiny flicker of something sprung to life in her heart. Why did she care so much?

"Not without you." the girl said with a hint of tears in her voice.

"Well I'm not leaving. So if you want to watch the show, do it without talking." she took a deep breath, bending her knees to throw herself off the building.

"But I love you!"

Faltering, she almost fell over. "Lying to me won't stop me." Oh how she wished it wasn't a lie.

"I'm not lying!" She shouted. The blonde came to her side, grabbing her hand. "I am in love with you. I won't let you kill yourself!"

"I have too," Shel whimpered. "You don't know what my life is like."

Holding on tightly, hazel eyes met brown. "Then take me with you."

"No!" Shel cried, trying to get out of her grasp. "You need to live! Your life is perfect!"

"It's worthless without you."

Yanking her hand away, she jumped without another word.

"No!" she screamed, jumping after the girl.

Falling in the air, the blonde managed to grab her hand, so that when they landed, the life going out of them instantly, they were together.

The next morning on the front page of newspapers all around the country, there were two pictures of two smiling girls. Double Suicide Shocks Town read one headline. Pressures Of Small Town Too Much? read another. But in Lima, the paper was a little more personal. RIP Quinn Fabray & Rachel Berry. There was speculation of why Quinn was with Rachel, and why both girls jumped. But no one had an answer. Not even Quinn's closest friends, or Rachel's fathers. They were left to wonder for the rest of their lives.

**

"You shouldn't have jumped with me," Rachel murmured against Quinn's neck. The sunlight shone in Rachel's hair glowing like a halo around her head.

"I told you, without you my life is worthless." Quinn replied.

Smiling down at Quinn, Rachel finally felt at peace. "I love you."

"I love you too."
