Have you set up a 'Limited Profile'?

Basically you create a grouping for the friends that you don't want to be able to see certain things (almost everything, if that's what you want). You then add people to the grouping, and viola - only the ones that you want to see your personal outpourings or sex quizzes will be able to do so.

I use mine for current/recent work colleagues, and people I don't like much but who - as you say - don't get the hint and add you anyway.

It was too damned complicated. I couldn't find half of the stuff that page said... I just gave up and ignored the friend request haha.

I just don't add people I don't want to. They can cry about it if they want to, but since I never see them anyway, nor have I kept in touch with them since we were in highschool together, it's not a big deal. It's the internet!
