A/N: So I've posted this before but it didn't get any replies, I was just wondering if anyone read it, and what they thought of it. It's my first TVD fanfic, based loosely on the Miley Cyrus song "Stay". deansbadgirl said that it deserved another chapter, so I was wondering if anybody else thought that as well.

( He was gone. I still couldn't believe it. )

I like it! I especially like the fact that Damon knows that Elena never gave in to him because she didn't want to be another Katherine. I've always said this, but it seems that not admitting to being in love with both of them was mostly because she wants so badly to not be Katherine and Damon saying that she wouldn't be, regardless of how she chose, is lovely!

Thanks so much! I was really worried about this one since it's my real first attempt a vampire diaries fanfic (and the first one that I've written in about 7 years) so I really appreciate your comments! :D
