wedding planning
I am having fun with this wedding planning stuff. I already know I will be going over budget, but I figure, you only get married once (hopefully), so I might as well spend a little more to do it right. As long as I don't go over $15,000 (which, sadly is still a lower-budget wedding).
I still need to put down some deposits, but so far I have:
The ceremony/reception location - Stoneybrook Country Club (East) - deposit paid
Caterer - Stoneybrook CC - deposit paid
Photographer - Eric Dean - deposit paid
Wedding gown - a secret - Dominic's hell-bent on finding out my gown, so there will be no pics or info about it until after the wedding (hehee) - deposit paid
Bridesmaid dresses -
Bari Jay Style 253 in Berry - one of the first dresses I fell for. It's not one of the more traditional bridesmaid gowns, which is probably why I love it. My bridesmaids (my sis and three of my cousins) love it too :D
We just chose our invites this weekend - my mom has known the guy pretty much as long as we have been in Florida, so he is giving us a 2O% off discount - yay! I am meeting with some DJs this week and will hopefully decide on one soon.
I'm getting more excited with each decision we make. It just feels more and more real the closer we get.
I am looking forward to doing the menu tasting and the cake tasting, yum!!
November 4th will be here before we know it!
