Re entering Persona

Hello ducklings I have returned, to Sickened I hope you received my response to your dilema, though from the looks of it you had quite a supportive network of non-crazies. To elaborate on my response just a bit, if your friends start putting you in a killing mood, review why you're actually friends with these people, if it's because you're just used to them, re evaluate your relationship. If there is some kind of frustrated love there, soothingly tell them you love them, but find that they are acting like fools, and it must stop.sigh. I'm having a dilemna there. See, friend2 has been making my teeth ache with frustration for a year now. A full year. I can remember when it started getting dumb and it was almost exactly a year ago. And friend2 and I have been best friends since high school, so there's a deep loyalty there. But at the same time, she and I haven't been really close friends since high school. It's been a sort of 'best friends forevAr' thing without the actually having to be best friends. And it seems like, ever since senior year of high school, if we have to be around each other very much we really start to crawl up each other's respective asshole ( ... )

Unfortunatley, even the best friendships drift apart. If there is growing resentment and frustration, may need to begin cutting ties. It does'nt mean you love her less, but sometimes the ones we love aren't good for our mental health.

Darling Auntie Gabby,

Let us not forget how dashing gentlemen look in a well-made blazer of good sleeve length and cut. Also, though it's a detail the well-dressed man often forgets, a tie clip (not to be confused with a clip on tie) or a tie pin is always charming.

Or that skirts cut well above the knees on a young lady over the age of fifteen immediately turns them into a Trailer Trash Trixie. Also, there is no excuse for bad eyeliner. Ever.

Pleated slacks a no-no? dayton_idaho October 21 2005, 13:24:15 UTC
Dear AG,

I am confused by your ban on the pleated slack. Most suits that I have seen incorporate the pleat, and the pleat seems to dominate the slack section of the store. Is there some conspiracy against the lack of pleat on the slack? Does Haliburton have some type of involvement? Does this go all the way to the White House?

On a related note; your thoughts on the pinstripe?

Sincerely,

Pleatspiracy Theorist

Dear Pleatspiracy. Flat pleats, of the sewn down variety are fine, it is the puffy pleat that is distasteful. It is indeed a conspiracy, originating with the highest levels of our government, to make men in suits look like they have "woman hips". Pinstripes are always delectable.

Dear AG,

Thank you for the advice, the Ice Pick of Doom worked wonderfully. It was an employer issue, not a friend issue. I am now concerned that if I were to visit friends in another state that many of them may be waiting with an Ice Pick of Doom of their own, as I played a nasty prank on them. I have a set of full plate armor that I'm sure will protect me from an Ice Pick of Doom, but other than Halloween, when I wear it, people look at me funny. What accessory would make this more appealing to the public in general?
