Dear Auntie,

What style of shoe would you recommend to the gent who want's something sturdy but also stylish? A pair that could take the rigors of kicking in someone's teeth but still look smart enough for the workplace.

Sorry. I don't know if you've checked my LJ lately, but I'm answering advice letters addressed to other people this week.

And Wolverine does indeed make a steel-toed loafer. I got mine a Shoe Carnival. Seems to me that combines business casual right nicely with face-stomping dressy.

Did'nt Odd Job have a razor sharp hat and it was the Austin Powers Villain...do believe his name was Random Task that threw a shoe?

Either way, a stylish stiletto heel is a fantastic option. Light weight, yet perfect for eye gouging.
