Last Man
A few days late, but I needed to write my thoughts. Which begin with one word...WOW
GoAdorable! Simply adorable were the scenes between Abby and Gibbs. I loved how she kept tally of the days since the team had been split up. THEN she (and only she) was able to tell Gibbs he had 10 days to get them all back. And Gibbs knowing who and when she had lunch with (McGee) showed a lot. There's a split second during the first hug where if you're a shipper you can totally see him relishing in the moment. Anyway...
Ziva looked HOT in the opening scenes...I mean, damn! And her voice was incredible. Have to say I was shocked when the bomb went off (well, ok I was shocked the first time I saw the online promo, he he). Then, cut to the new "B Team", which Ducky adequently states. I am in no way saying I like this new turn, but at least if the writers were going to bring in new people, they could have had it to where they had chemistry together. How many people could honestly say that if those were the characters shot during the premiere episode you'd keep watching?!?!
Another scene I loved was the first shots of McGee and how he's become "boss" to the computer nerds, lol. And yet he still jumps and is eager to rejoin Gibbs in any venture.
The short scene with Tony was priceless too. I loved how he made references to McGee being like a brother and Gibbs his father. I can't wait for next week when he comes into play more!
And then of course the ending...I have to admit I was taken back. Half way through I even stated, "It's can't be Agent Lee, she's been on and off for the past 2 yrs!" And yet...then again, who knows. Which is why I love this show. Since I am usually one who can guess storylines quickly, yet find myself constantly surprised by the writers abilities on the show.
The hugs at the end and the obvious relief for the characters to be rejoined (without Tony) was endearing. I can't wait for tomorrow!
