In my first Seattle apartment, I didn't have cable, either. I say kudos to you. The people who think you're crazy not to have cable are Luddites that don't know how to use bittorrent or YouTube to good effect. I give them a raspberry... :P

I don't think you're crazy. Then again, it's been five years since I've owned a television. The place in the 19th doesn't count because the tv there only worked for playing dvds and tapes. Who needs a tv? Surfthechannel has almost everything. Usually within 24 hours after it airs.

If I was still single I wouldn't have satellite service, either. That is mostly for Chris and Emily. I used to sit and read in the evenings. Chris was horrified at the little tiny TV I had when he moved in, but I only used it to watch movies.
