hey thats saying something for PG. Most cities there are "where you get shot" kind of cities.

I'm still amazed I made it out alive.

Well, when you put it that way, I'm GLAD to live in Hyattsville (right on the border of CP)! Unfortunately, I live too close to Langley Park for my comfort...

Oh, yeah College Park is like an anamoly in PG. Since it has the school it really isn't like the rest of the county.

I grew up on Oxon Hill if that puts my statement in perspective.

I've only been here for two months, I have no clue what Oxon Hill is (yet)! I haven't explored much, and what I have explored definitely wasn't really in PG county! I have a friend who grew up in Montgomery county and is reluctant to come to my house, merely because it's in PG...
PS maybe you could enlighten me on this, do most cabbies not know what Hyattsville is? I had one that tried to take me south from Adams Morgan... I said Maryland like 3 times, I don't understand why we would head to the national monument...
