Sighing heavily, Lucien sits down next to him.

"Can you show me how to play? It has to be easier than interacting with real people." Families. He means real families.

Such a heavy sigh and the words so true.

"Are you OK, Lucien?"

No, he's not okay. He's missing Eli like crazy, but he doesn't want Gabe to think it's his fault, because it isn't, not really. A catalyst, maybe, but if Gabe hadn't sparked it something else would have.

"Yeah, I'm just not feeling like much of a people person right now, that's all. Pass that over, show me what I'm supposed to do."

Gabe's feeling deeply, strongly, that it is his fault, that if he'd just kept his mouth shut then none of it would have happened. He shouldn't have told Eli to get off the bed, he shouldn't have let Lucien know what happened. So many shouldn'ts.

He saves the game.

"You choose or build a sim, choose or build a house, run their lives. It's a time sink."

And he closes and starts a new one then hands the controls over.

"Lucien - I'm sorry - I - " Don't know what to say. "This isn't right, yeah? You shouldn't be in this position and it's my fault. Do you want me to move out for a while? Eli shouldn't have left his home, not because of me. It's more his than it's mine."
