And now, Korra!
Episode 3 was brilliant! It really does seem like this show is gonna be all killer, no filler.
- OMG, the "Previously on the Legend of Korra" is like a 1920's newsreel thingy! ♥ Bryke, you trying to kill me with awesome?!
- I love Korra more with each episode. Mornings are evil indeed.
- Bolin is so cute.
- The ferret (who's name I've forgotten, whoops) is also cute.
- Mako's not as broody as I was expecting. He's more of a "I had to grow up fast" kind of guy. You can tell what a good brother he is just by looking at Bolin. I imagine there's not that much of an age difference between them, but Bolin's grown up relatively carefree and happy. Probably cos Mako's tried to shield him as much as possible from the ugliness of the world.
- There will probably be a story arc later on where Bolin proves to Mako that he can be responsible too.
- Hah, the shipping was strong in this episode. XD It's cute, I like it so far.
- LMAO at Korra earthbending away the two kids!
- Amon is friggin scary. Seriously. Dude's only been in a few episode and he's already scarier than Ozai on his best day.
- He's totally lying about his face though. Sorry, I don't believe it. He's hiding his real identity, not his scarred face.
- Amon's henchman used Ty Lee's fighting techniques! :O
- People are lightning bending like it's normal! :O
- I don't think Amon is taking away the bending in the same way that Aang did, cos we didn't have that fantabulous light show from before. It's probably more to do with blocking chakras?
- TENZIN. WHAT IS WITH THAT SHIFTY FACE? WHAT'RE YOU HIDING BRO?! Sorry, he looked damn shifty when Korra told him about Amon taking away bending.
- Next episode: that doesn't look like a very good idea. And since Korra isn't good with her spiritual side of bending, I don't think she'll have the Avatar state to come and save her from Amon! ;_; But obviously she'll be okay.
