Olympics!

I wasn't expecting to enjoy the Olympics as much as I did! I'm actually sad it's over. Unfortunately I didn't get to go to any of the events in person, but watching it on the TV was just as good, if not better in some cases. (The BBC had really good coverage of it) I'm usually not that into sport that isn't football, but there were a lot of moving

I actually enjoyed the Olympics too and I didn't mean to fall into it. I love Gabby Douglas. I think she is a class act. And Aly Raisman is from the Boston area. One of my co-workers who is from Rhode Island kept on providing New England commentary to her routines because she has that attitude I tried to describe before. And also, Gabby Douglas is from Virginia where I live now so it was kinda nice to have that bridge of the gap. Oh and I love Missy Franklin too. She's adorbs.

I liked watching the diving. And men's gymnastics. Not to sound petty but, the Russian girls on the gymnastics team I thought took it way too seriously and had bad sportsman attitudes. You switch to men's gymnastics and you can tell Dannell Leyva, Ngyuen, and Kohei Uchimura had respect for each other no matter what they placed. I thought Dannell saying he looked up to Uchimura as where he wanted to be in four years I thought was also very classy.

I didn't watch so much of the track and field though.

Gabby Douglas was amazing! I watched her through my fingers half the time, I was so worried she was gonna fall or something! She had quite a fan following here though, the crowd went nuts for her
