considering that we eat daily off of plates washed by the dish washer and don't get sick very frequently, i wouldn't say that the germs left on the plates are any more harmful than those that inhabit the sponge.

somehow i don't think that made it much better and you will probably start worrying about sponge germs now.

my sister said they sterilize whatever's in there. i'm not sure if she has science backing her up, but i choose to believe her. i love dishwashers, never having had one. it's magic!

perhaps it's the temp of the water that sterilizes? i'll take anything i can grab onto to nip this compulsion in the bud....

it's awful hot and steamy when you open the door (if you're not patient, which i'm not)...so I'm guessing she's most correct.

we have a dishwasher in the new house...we said we'd barely use it as we hadn't had one before...we totally lied...i would rather lose an arm then have the dishwasher stop working.

Also, as for Lester Long...i made Jamie watch Clay Pigeons several months ago...I first told him how you and I giggled at every. single. thing. he said through that entire movie...i don't think Jamie appreciated it nearly as much as you and i did.

ok. i can accept the hot and steamy dishwasher defense.

you know, it's hard to find people who see the true beauty of the character Lester 'the Molester' Long. cheers to us!
