whole blasted family was kinda green and I'm not talking Ralphy Nader *burf*
We saw Hidalgo - one of the worst movies I've ever seen but I loved it because the horses were great that Hildago boy(s) is one cute puppy.
OK - Kill Bill 2 - spoiler alert
I hated it - beginning to end. KB 1 I was already very impatient because it was soooooo sloooooooow at the beginning but it picked up, good ass kicking, great puns visual and musical and stereotypical so I did enjoy it quite a bit overall.
But 2 is a stinker. It was even slower, everybody was talking the same Tarantino type dialogue and delivering it the same way. Uma and Carradine were the only ones (especially Carradine) that brought any personal touch to it. It was not as clever by a mile and no matter how you chose to take the ending it was bad cheesy, I can handle good cheesy but this just stunk.
I think there was actually a good story in there but I have come to the conclusion that Tarantino is not my kinda story teller - I mean, I GET IT ALREADY - but he's an ox with what he's doing. The man seems so in love with his own style that it becomes a groaner.
You shouldn't go through a movie irritated because it's so lame - if ya don't laugh and you aren't entertained it's a bust no matter how clever the story could have been, the presentation did not suceed for me.
So I'm guessing I'm just not a Tarantino fan, oh well
