So not an old fuddy-duddy! No need to turn in your Lady du Sulten card either. I'm so with you on this. If I want sleeves, I want proper sleeves. And if it's warn enough to be without, I want to go sleeveless. It's stupid fashion, and I've yet to see any that look good. And I've seen a few, so many sewing get bloggers swoon over these "frozen shoulder" tops and dresses. I don't get it. Does not look good, and must be very uncomfortable. What's the point?
Thank you! It's nice to get affirmation from someone who actually sews instead of (like me) just being a seamstress and designer in my personal fantasies.
I was at a party this evening where a couple of women in attendance were wearing tops with the cut out shoulder sleeve. It was so cold that I didn't even take my jacket off inside. I don't know about them, but I definitely would not have been comfortable in their outfits.
