Last night I dreamt that I shot milk out of my wrist like Spider Man would, if he were lactating... uh, out his wrists... yeah. I think I need to find an alternate food source for baby. about 4 months old. very watery/runny on a rubber tipped spoon. :)

As awesome as (I think) breastfeeding is, there comes a point where (for whatever reason) the switch is made to formula. Moms should not be made to feel bad about that.

Out of my three kids, none nursed for the same length of time - my oldest weaned on his first birthday; my second decided nursing was a game and was given sippy cups of formula at 10 months; my third nursed when she was with me and got formula when she was with Pete up to about 11 months.

My sister never produced enough milk and had to put her kids on formula, which devestated her. But she didn't have a choice.

You know what's right, mama! :)

Thanks, we bought some cereal today, and will try it out tomorrow. Just trying to do our best.

4-5 months is when we started cereal for both girls. I would mix rice cereal with a bit of breast milk or formula, runny but still sorta solid ( ... )
