Meanwhile, back in paradise….
“So let me get this straight. Gackt came home from his run, packed a bag and left for the airport. And he left his phone.”
Takumi nodded as he bit the top off a piece of broccoli. He looked at the fork in his hand. ’Why am I eating broccoli even when Gaku’s not here?’ he thought. He push away the salad bowl and reached for the artery-clogging Kentucky Fried Chicken.
“Hm,” You mused, “I didn’t think that was possible. Isn’t it surgically attached to his hand?” He set down his fork and pushed his plate away.
He’d been unable to resist the chance to enjoy something so bad for him guilt-free, except for Takumi watching him and looking like he was going to cry; so he limited himself to one small chicken leg, a spoonful of mac and cheese, and a biscuit, and let Takumi indulge in the rest of the 10-piece meal he’d ordered.
“Well, I guess I’m off for home,” You reached for his pocket to pull out his phone. “Oh, yeah,” he sighed, “I forgot. Can I borrow your phone?”
