i'm proud of you thain :-) good job :-) now for the post out-coming up-sobering: check out www.pflag.org, in particular their resources for parents dealing with kids coming out. it's something you may well want your mom to take a look at - it'll answer a lot of questions and my experience with the pflag people has been that they're good people.
