Yesterday was pretty awesome as far as Sunday's go. Seeing how it's my only official day off for the next couple of months, I love when it turns out like this one

Ox Head is a traditional stop when my gang goes to the AMC for a movie. There's lots of love for the fresh spring rolls.

Edward Norton was sexiest in American History X. That whole shower scene... Hello! While everyone in the theater was aghast, Rob and I were trying to hide our boners. :o)

I'll have to see The Happening now. I didn't bother because of less than less than stellar reviews.

"I'm going to be honest here for a moment, and say that one of my biggest pet peeves has to be when people trash a movie, or an artist, and it isn't justified. I think there's a real culture of trashing things that are good just to come off as cool, or opinionated."

It's funny because I was thinking about this exact thing recently while taking a shower (where I do my best thinking). Some people just want to feel important as an "individual", or want to be "heard", and with a society that thrives on negative pubilicity and messages, it seems like trashing things is the way to go to feed the ego.
