As posted by suzie_b, we had to say goodbye to our little brown carpet shark tonight. Kokie was our most bold ferret. The little guy had no fear, and pushed the limits of our patience and the borders around him all the time. He pounced everything, tugged other ferrets and toys around, lept as high as he could, and defeated every barrier we could come

*snugs lots and lots* I cried when I read about Kokie last night and I'm sniffling again. Geo and I's love is with you both. Kokie was really one of a kind and he will be missed. I'm glad I had a chance to get to know your little boy.

Kokie was my brown bear. ;.; I'm so sorry he's gone now, he was always my favorite. I can still remember the time I was staying over at Danny & Esther's house, sleeping on the leather couch of doom, when I was awakened by a clicking noise.

Sitting up, I blinked blearily down the hall, where the ferret cages were, and there was Kokie, walking across the wood floor like he had every right to do so. The moment he saw that I noticed him, he froze with what I swear was an "Oh CRAP!" look on his face, before he skittered off in the direction of the bathroom.

Needless to say, I caught him and put him back in his cage (the other ferrets were all sleeping and didn't even notice the great escape), but to this day, I'm still not entirely sure how he got out of that cage.

He will be missed. :(
