No good deed...

or so the saying goes right? This morning, I walk by a homeless man on the way to the bank and hear him say something about being cold and wanting coffee. You offered unselfishly and that's what matters. You never know what people remember years down the road, or how your good deed will influence them in the future. I'm not sure positive energy is ever wasted.

You know, I use to think I could somehow help these people but in the end, all they want is booze and drugs to get away from it all. I bet if you had a muffin, a cup of joe, and a dime bag, the homeless dude would have pounced on that dime bag.

I don't want to seem cruel but there are far more people who could use that extra $2. The homeless guy isn't one of them. (Kudos for you to actually offer though. That guy was being a total dick. No wonder he's homeless....)
