House, season 5, episode 3 - I somehow lost track of most of the last part of that episode because I was mentally willing House to jam with Lucas. And it made me very happy when they did.

Just borrowed a melodeon from the commanding officer of my reenacting unit. 1930's German (so I'm told), keyed in A and D.
Now if only I knew how to play it... eh. Gimme a couple of weeks. -

I have discovered that, when it comes to the fairer sex, I really have no clue what's going on. And not that "no clue but I manage to muddle through" - more like "no clue and it bites me in the ass all the time". Met a pretty cool folk group yesterday, called Spirit Family Reunion, out of NYC. Good bunch of dudes (and one dudette). Marching drum, guitar/harmonica, banjo, fiddle/mandolin/accordion. Y'all should check them out - they sound a little like The Felice Brothers (another great band, from around my parts), and they're great at what they do ( Read more... ) -

So a while ago, there was this virus that was spreading around. People gearing up in Hazmat suits and the whole bit. Everyone started freaking out. Some countries closed their borders to international travel. Kids were taken out of schools.
That started mid-way through March. Where is your swine flu now?
