Knocked out an EP today with the Big Takeover - took us all damn day, but we finished it. Looking pretty good so far, for rough cuts.
Also, we've got a show at the Chance with Badfish on the 18th that we need to sell many tickets for - let me know if you want one, they're $15 each.
At least that's better than the Wailers tickets - $25 is a lot of -

There is something extremely satisfying about sitting on a sunny porch, drinking a cold beer, smoking a hand-rolled cigarette, and playing a mandolin. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it makes me feel very peaceful. -

The band's got a van! This is exciting news, as it means we can travel further away without having to bring 2 or 3 cars (you can never really get 6 people into a single vehicle, let alone all our equipment and junk). It's a 15-passenger '98 Dodge Ram 3500, and it's ours for a little over $5,500 - not too shabby, if I do say so myself ( Read more... ) -

- get the hell out of Dodge with said saved monies and travel Europe for a bit

I love internet arguements. Especially the ones that I don't start, but I have the option to join in. A base part of me is telling me "Yes, yes!
