There were a lot of nightclubs in Zaranth. Some of them were populated by a mostly human crowd, those were the more normal ones. Some of them were populated by everything from mages to vampires to werewolves and even an occasional angel. In short, just about anything ( Read more... )

I find it very amusing that there's a demon called Mordecai out there. That's the name of a hero in Jewish tradition, from the book of Esther.

*clears her throat* Where upon in the kingdom of Purssia the King Achashverosh declared to his wife and queen Vashti that she should appear before him and his court during a really big party either naked or unveiled. It depends, really, on who you ask. In either case, she said no. He got pissy and exiled (or killed her) her. This left him in a bit of a conundrum as he needed a new wife. So it was declared that all the eligable women would be shown to the king and he would choose from there ( ... )

The king asked Haman, how would you honor a man if you were King? Haman thought that the King was talking about him and said, dress him up in the King's royal robes, praded him around on the King's royal horse and declare that this is how the King honor's someone. The King said, great idea, I love it. Go do that to Mordecai the Jew ( ... )
