"You two haven't really had any proper interactions for awhile. Fans miss you. Initiate some skinship with him today, okay?" The manager patted Sehun on the back.
Sehun smiled a smile that looked more like a grimace, and let out a deep breath he wasn't even aware he had been holding in. He looked over to the other side of the waiting room and caught Lu Han laughing out loud at a joke Yi Xing just told him. Sehun's frowning face bore a new hint of disgust as he approached his favourite hyung.
"Lu," He called out to the other person, not bothering to hide the frustration painfully obvious in his voice. "Manager hyung told us to have some 'proper interactions' today. You know, fanservice. Cooperate, alright?" Sehun turned away the moment the last word were said and instantly left.
Lu Han blankly stared at Sehun's retreating back, a wry smile on his lips.

The first time that thought came into Sehun's mind was long ago, when he was nineteen and Lu Han was twenty-three.
Sehun thought Lu Han would look really good in white. Lu Han would look really good in white, like an angel, standing in the church, Sehun's fingers intertwined with his smaller ones, smiles on their faces as they vow to love each other until death do them part.
Eight years later, they finally had a chance to be at church together. Sehun held the person in white's small hands and listened to the priest's questions, eyes staring at nothing in particular, eyes only seeing white.
"...to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
Sehun turned his head towards the only person in a white suit sitting in the first row, his expression unreadable.
"I do."

"Sehunnie, there's something I have to tell y--"
"Hyung, I have a crush on your sister."
"Great. Go ahead, pursue her, and make sure to treat her well. You have my blessings."
"I love you's" died in Lu Han's throat as Sehun's eyes crinkled up into crescents.

Sehun walked into their shared room. He stared at Lu Han for a good minute, then started taking small steps towards the bed.
Lu Han looked so peaceful, eyes shut tight, lips ever so slightly curving upwards. Sehun hated this side of Lu Han, the side Lu Han could never show him.
Lu Han loved Sehun a little too much. Sehun didn't like being responsible for anyone else's feelings, though. He made Lu Han cry all the time, and when Lu Han cried he would feel that he did something bad, and he despised himself for caring in the first place.
Because Lu Han wasn't the one Sehun longed for. Lu Han was easily replaceable. Lu Han was nothing but an option.
Sehun somehow cared anyway.
But it didn't matter anymore. Lu Han was gone.
Sehun pulled Lu Han - already cold - into a tight embrace and slowly rocked the limp body back and forth.
