Still alive. Still dealing with my stuff.

Okay. Surgery of amputation above the knee of the left leg is done. No complications. Moderate pain in stump and a lot of pain in the right knee, I think they did something to it when getting me in the stretcher. I was pissed off royally by the transport company not getting me to the hospital till right at time for the surgery. I'll be here for 5 ( Read more... ) -

News for people I've not seen lately.
I just want everybody to know that on Tuesday I am going in for surgery to have my left left amputated. I am not surprised or shocked by this decision, but I am at how fast it was set up. Just wanted y'all to know so their is no surprises down the road. -

I'm still alive and in a long term care home after my stroke. But I'll quote myself from today's FB post to bring all up to date of my current mood/state of affairs. Not saying this as a pity whine, but I need to unload.

yay. Not much else to report on. Hurricane Hermine was a complete miss for me. I like t-storms and rain when not in a leaky house. I could complain about the food here, but what good would it do? -
Moved into LTC.
Same building as the rehab clinic, but room 503A. -
