Cross all appropriate appendages. There were very few horrors on the last few trips; one tremendously rude and hurtful woman, one utterly tanked fellow, and the time several of us were almost left on the platform in Syracuse.
This is bigger, and faster, and more crowded a schedule than I've attempted whilst traveling. Your kindness, and support, are more than I could ask for. Thank you.
Indeed. Looks like a lot of fun. And a lot of train and car. Fortunately, the folks driving me are all wonderful people, and I adore playing on the train (social situations are *so* much easier for me to handle with a harp between me and any group over 3 people).
Portland is on the map for the May Tour. What's a good happy coffeeshop (or a nice bearish place, for that matter) there?

No, San Francisco is not part of my Eastern Loop Tour.
I'd really love to add it to my Western Loop, though, this next May. Help me find a venue? May, so far, takes me to California (Davis, Santa Rosa, Ukiah/Mendocino), Oregon (Eugene, Portland) and Washington (Seattle/Redmond). SF would be lovely, either on the way out, or back, or both. Haven't been there since I was 5. It's far past time for another visit.

Hmmm, I'm not much on the entertainment scene, but I will ask around to see who might know an available venue (other than just the farmer's market at the ferry building. :) ) Davis isn't so far away (or Santa Rosa for that matter) that we would not be opposed to coming over to hear you play. Just let me know where to find you.
Hey, i guess I never got these dates in the official email. So you got ahold of the troy folks? Good. Also, the friday night before your saturday market gig is this:
I'm sure you could busk any of the main streets downtown and get a good deal of attention. So what are the nights you will need a bed? 22nd, 23rd, 4th, & 5th? Let me know!
Also, there is another open mic from 8-11 at Helsinki in Hudson just down the river. Setup is at 7pm, and we could make it down there just in time (if you'd like!). It's a pretty spectacular venue. I just talked to my buddy Evan who runs the thing, and he is ready to have you (if you'd like to play another set right after Emac's).
