Math problems: a mirror to life

So I'm glancing through the problem set for the chapter I've going to cover in one of my classes; all of the problems are along the lines of "here's an argument, is it logically valid?" And I come to question #13:
If Chris studies, then he will pass the class test. If Chris does not play cards, then he will study. Chris did not pass the class ( Read more... )

Must have been 467 - I wrote 441 (and 367 in fact). Now, given the mark I got on the 441 mid-term, maybe I should have skipped it....

Please do not quote that PoS article that I was interviewed for, but fortunately not misquoted in--even if it was by the editor, and not the authour of said piece (of s___).

It would seem to me that the answer to the argument has a whole lot to do with how logically sound Chris is.
