Sheer brilliance

Clocky: an alarm clock that runs (well, rolls) and hides when you hit the snooze button. Then you have to get up and find it when it goes off again. Brought to you by the clever folks at the MIT Media Lab.

In a world all too full of suckiness, it heartens me considerably that people put time and effort into shiny things like this.

The question is, after you've found it, silenced it, and fallen back into bed, does it do the same thing again? Could I theoretically chase Clocky's snooze bar around my room for the hour or so that generally it takes me from first opening my eyes to feeling awake enough to face the day? (Although I suppose the theory is once you're up, you're up. This has seldom worked for me, though. Although this device could speed that process up.)

The existence of this has made my day better. Thanks for sharing.
