Also, I realize I'm lame, but I do love my car. It's been passed down from mother to daughter for three generations! (although, it should be noted that both previous generations are still alive - they've just bought newer cars).
My grandparents bought the car when it was new, in 1990 (although it my grandmother who stood as the owner, and she was the one who drove it). Then, when they got a new car in 2000-ish, my mom got the old one. And now she's finally found a used car she wants/affords, so I got the Volvo. :D
It's in pretty good shape for its age, because mom was always meticulous in taking care of it.
