i've found that most of what i do now is waste my time. i go from activity to activity simply finding new ways to pass from boker, to tzohorayim, to erev, then hayom nigmar ad mahar. for example, today i wasted my time at AP environemtal scince test, then at lunch, then at periods 5 and six, then at home, then between youth group and hebrew. i

i definitely found it hard to properly observe yom hazikaron b'galut - what a change from last year! and i'm having a hard time coming up with ways of celebrating yom haatzmaut, aside from wearing blue and white. but maybe sometimes a personal celebration within my heart is still alright. chag sameach!

i read this, and got goosebumps. I don't think I'm cold, but I just thought about last year, and how sad it all was. It definitely wasn't the same, and it just may never be until we are back there in Israel. I love you Julie Smith, and I miss you dearly
