Whoa! I'm with LG--this should've been a deleted scene. It's written perfectly, and captures all of Andrea's angst after the CDC and before she comes into her own, as well as Daryl's sensitivity and compassion, and refusal to let one of his friends feel sorry for herself, even in the wake of all that's happened. LOVE it!!

(Having a blessedly quiet day at work, so catching up on the D/A action on my downtime. Great way to spend it was reading your fic!) :)
