Because I have the memory of a fish I will be updating this list as I remember more things. Mostly I'm just annoyed because I can never remember anything, so now I have a list woohoo.
Le Mepris (Contempt), or anything Godard, but especially this one. Oh, and Breathless, too. Six Degrees of Separation Todd Solondz - Happiness, Storytelling, Welcome to the Dollhouse Being John Malkovich The Ice Storm Memento Mori The 400 Blows Ingmar Bergman - Persona, The Seventh Seal, Wild Strawberries; nothing on your list really indicates that you might like these, which doesn't necessarily mean you wouldn't like them, but I don't know. I love Bergman, so I recommend them to anyone anyway.
Of course I'm sure there are dozens upon dozens more films I could list, but I may remember them later. And I finally saw The Piano recently. What a gorgeous film.
It goes quite well, thank you, and you? Done with the semester yet? Oh holidays, ohhhhhhh.
Let's see....
I have seen Being John Malkovich, and I think I remember liking it quite a bit, yet it didn't stand out like some do. I've seen quite a bit of Kubrick, too, Full Metal Jacket, Eyes Wide Shut, The Shining, Clockwork Orange, and Strangelove. I liked Clockwork and Eyes Wide Shut lots. What else?
Persona has been on my to see list for quite awhile. I think I just might add all the others to that list. Thankfully I posted this list and not that list for that list is much much longer.
I really like The Piano and I am delighted that you did too.
Whew kitty just jumped in my lap, and not so gracefully either. Off I go.
Oui, the semester is complete, and it was a-OK, I suppose. But I am taking the next semester off, probably getting an apartment near the school sometime in the spring, and making up for the missed semester by doing summer independent work.

But really I loved it all around, while other people were inexplicably bored by it, so maybe, maybe not.
