I rather like your philosophy on philosophy, as it were. That is to say--every observation, conclusion, etc, can be regarded as applied philosophy. Though I am not terribly knowledgeable on the history of philosophy itself or anything, I try to approach life from a philosophical standpoint. Whatever that means. I fancy myself an observant critical thinking sort of soul, I suppose.
I too am planning on buying my very own house in the not so distant future. The idea of feeling settled is sort of appealing although I BADLY want to travel. But the idea of a house waiting for my return, that's a comforting thought.
