This was brilliant! With so much to love about this, it's hard to say what I like best, but the cabinet meetings were delightful -- trying to pick and choose among at least five different takes on government, and mucking it up. I loved Ronon's thoughts on military discipline:
Dex: On Sateda, when the troops were on stand-down, we practiced battle hymns and staged recreations of historic events of the past, accompanied by song and rhythmic mock-battles.
McKay: You put on musicals!
Dex: Like that movie you showed me, Sheppard. With the shirtless people.
Oh Holy Shit. I just tried to snort spaghetti out my nose, which is painful, by the way. This is hilarious, and I'm adding it to my memories three seconds after I post this. :D
Awesomely brilliant. This is so what would have happened. Have you ever seen the movie, "Idiocracy"? Not the best movie, but the premise reminds me of this a bit.

Sheppard: 300?
Dex: With better music.
Glee! Thanks for this treat.
