I've played through it now three times (after breaking the initial trance brought on by the otherworld lovliness of the artwork -- omg....).
My two favorites: Oracle; the sensually coaxing earthiness made me want to arch my own back, while digging nails into someone elses' (this is a good thing). There's an edge and a tension, cunningly done. Swoon.
Turtles all the Way; The Bolero-like building intensity, each layer on each pure and shining layer was like watching a glorious sunrise unfold...
When you first talked about Perils of Poly, I thought, oh, that'll be the song I adopt. Then Dirty Little Secret & Goodbye came in and stole my heart....
I'm sorry about that! Could you send me your real life name via e-mail so I can check the records? I work really hard at getting these things right (for obvious reasons) and I want to see where I goofed.
Yep, there it is. I had the note next to yoiur wife's name in the database, so it was simply user error. I'm truly sorry. I do keep a database of mistakes, and if we ever do a re-pressing where we have to resubmit files, we'll correct it then, and I'll send you another copy.
Please, don't trouble yourself. It's really not that big of a deal, and I wouldn't want you to go to the extra expense at the sake of my vanity. It's just something I thought I'd mention.
I'm about the most easy-going guy you'll meet, and I understand mistakes. Things happen. If you feel the need to correct for a future pressing order, then by all means do so, but you don't need to send me another copy.
I heard the CD the first time at the birthday party on Friday the 13th, ordered it the 15th and it arrived 2 days later. I love, love, love, love and love it.
