Scary Stuff

I had a cancer scare. It was out of the blue, and it messed with me. I thought at first that I would need a hysterectomy at minimum, and it ended up being a short (but painful) office procedure, followed by a few days of anxiety while I awaited my results. Turns out, I'm healthy, for the most part, but wasn't in menopause, as I initially thought

Oh! Michelle actually told me what she has been so angry about! Though I know she is wadding several incidents up into one, and thinks they all happened at the same time, I was able to apologize for my part in things. She and I have been *talking* over Facebook several times a day since the middle of June. Now part of me is still cautious, this does feel different. There has actually been adult interaction, growth, and some closure for issues. She has also been initiating conversations! We will see how things pan out.
