You do Thai?

What do I have that you want? Seriously, I'll trade anything. About the only thing I can't give you at the moment is money, which of course is what I SHOULD be giving you, but that's not possible just now. Maybe soon.

I'll graphic-design. I'll cook. I can offer you more standard forms of massage, although I'm not trained in Thai. If you can think of it and I have it to give, it's yours in return for Thai work.

O.K., like, I'm not really good yet, but yes, I will be happy to work on you, of course. Perhaps indentured servitude can be arranged for payment...Mwahahaaa...

Yeah, I know, the idea of a machine that can produce life force energy is ridiculous. I'll have to introduce that idea at the next board meeting on the 28th. One thing at a time, as they say. I'm doing Reiki training with the therapists soon, so hopefully, they will see that Reiki is ACTUAL life force energy, and that no machine can create it.

Thanks for the encouragement. I wish I could tell you more, because it's a really exciting project. Taija says thanks!

I have seen/experienced a "chi gong" machine, which was basically an odd pattern of pulses from a pair of paddles applied to the back and other areas. I'm not sensitive enough to say whether there was any CHI in the pulses (at a guess, I'd have said the energy transference carrier was sonic, it had a kind of quiet "plop-plop" sound, and didn't tingle like electricity would have), and I only did it the once so I can't say what the prolonged effects might or might not be, but the effect was oddly relaxing. Not something I'd pay for, though, even if I had money to burn on bizarre therapies.

It's not necessarily a new idea, though. Wilhelm Reich was talking about orgone accumulators in the 1920s. I'm skeptical, but I try to keep an open mind. Unless there are crystals involved; I have a low tolerance for the crystal fad that sprang up in the '80s, and therefore for anything that derives from it.
