For the record, this is the first I've heard of this amongst all the cookiecutter holiday news and healthcare reform minutiae coverage.

This isn't exactly new news either. This issue has been around at least since Hatoyama took power.

yeah, I know. I'm wondering if anybody in the states has even heard of it? Well I'm sure there was at least one blurb about it somewhere, but it's like this ongoing thing here.
