So Christmas was good.  I'll post a nice little observation going home, i.e. my parents later.  However, it was really nice to see my parents and some of bob's parents.  Bob's been having interesting family changes this year, so this meant the whole time we got to stay with my parents the whole visit.  It was fun, got to do the whole family thing ( Read more... )

Aww, I'm sorry to hear your health isn't want you want it to be. I watch my mother go through this with her diabetes and it can always be a struggle sometimes. She has taken on the habit of walking around the block, or up and down the stairs if it's cold outside when her blood sugar is up too high.

Hope you can get it under control soon.

Is your mom Type 2 diabetic? If so I'm so jealious. They get away with everything. Although, she would probably say the same about me, Type 1's can eat a lot of not so great stuff and get away with it more than Type 2's. Notice the grass is always greener on the other side. ^_~ Usually I'll exercise or try to get it down if it's not too high, if it's higher than 300, I'm stuck and insulin is my only friend. My favorite is when I can throw as much insulin at it and it won't budge. Those are not fun times and seems to be what this fairy is doing.

Ugh, I've been sick since Christmas Eve (Rowdy's Christmas present to me), so I have to sympathize with Bob. :)

I hope your body gets back in the groove soon, Baby. And keep a close eye on that foot!
